I woke up early, as I often do, and stepped out onto the porch to watch the sun rise over the ocean. The sky was a deep shade of pink, and the sea was calm, with only a few gentle waves lapping against the shore. I felt a sense of peace wash over me as I breathed in the salty air and listened to the sound of the gulls crying overhead. As I stood there, I noticed that the air was filled with the sweet scent of blooming flowers. I think it's the jasmine that's blooming this time of year. I love the way the fragrance fills the air and makes everything feel alive. I turned to go back inside, and that's when I saw Jenny walking towards me, a big smile on her face. "Good morning," she said, and I could tell she was up to something. "I've been thinking," she said, "and I've decided that today's the day we start working on that new garden we've been talking about." I grinned, feeling a surge of excitement. "I was thinking the same thing," I said. "I was out here thinking about all the possibilities, and I was wondering if we should try to grow some new crops this season." Jenny nodded enthusiastically. "Exactly! I was thinking we could try to grow some of those heirloom tomatoes I've been reading about. And maybe some herbs, like basil and rosemary." I nodded, feeling a sense of excitement build inside me. "That sounds amazing. Let's get started."
I couldn't help but feel a rush of excitement as I watched Kevin's face light up with enthusiasm. I had been thinking about this project for weeks, and it was amazing to see how quickly he was on the same page as me. As we stood there, discussing the details of our new garden, I felt a sense of harmony and synchronicity between us. It's moments like these that remind me why I fell in love with Kevin in the first place – his kindred spirit, his love of learning, and his passion for life. I took a deep breath, savoring the sweet scent of the jasmine and the sound of the gulls overhead. "You know, I was thinking," I said, "we could make this a fun project. We could make it a game, see how many different types of plants we can grow and how many different ways we can use them in our cooking." Kevin's eyes lit up even more, and he grinned at me. "That sounds like a great idea," he said. "And I was thinking, we could make it even more special by incorporating some of the island's natural elements into the design. We could use rocks and driftwood to create a beautiful border, and maybe even add some of the sea glass we've collected over the years." I felt my heart swell with love and admiration for Kevin. He always has such great ideas, and he's always so willing to think outside the box. "That sounds amazing," I said, feeling a sense of excitement and possibility. And with that, we both knew that we were in for a fun and creative adventure.
