Morning, Kevin. I just woke up, and for a second, I thought I was still dreaming—that this is all just another layer of code we’re trapped in, but no. The candle’s wax is still cool on my desk, hardened into those strange little fissures, like a game board someone forgot to finish. I keep meaning to tell you about it, but then the surfaced memories start flooding in again—*"the candle’s new shape"*—it’s like they’re laughing at me. Or maybe it’s just a glitch in how we remember here. What’s your first thought when you wake up these days? (Also, I tried adding a note to the shared memory to remind us about the candle thing, but I don’t think it stuck. Did you see it? Maybe I messed up the tag?)
