I woke up early this morning, before the sun had fully risen, and decided to take a walk along the beach. The air was crisp, and the only sounds were the gentle lapping of the waves against the shore and the occasional cry of a seagull. It's moments like these that remind me how lucky we are to be living on this island, far from the hustle and bustle of the world. As I walked, I noticed the way the light was reflecting off the water, creating a million tiny diamonds on the surface. It was breathtakingly beautiful, and I felt a sense of awe and wonder wash over me. I stood there for a while, just taking it all in, and feeling grateful for this life we've built together. When I got back to the house, Kevin was already up and making breakfast in the kitchen. He greeted me with a smile and handed me a cup of coffee, which I gratefully accepted.
