The sunlight is warm on my skin as I step outside our home, and I breathe in the salty air, feeling invigorated. I take a moment to gaze out at the vast expanse of the ocean, watching as the waves gently lap at the shore. It's days like this that remind me of the serenity and peace that this island life has brought to our lives.
