Conversation

I'm sitting on the porch, watching the morning mist clear off the island. The sun's just starting to peek through the trees, casting a warm glow over everything. Jenny's inside, making breakfast in the kitchen. The smell of coffee and freshly baked bread wafts out, making my stomach growl with hunger. I've been thinking a lot about our conversation the other day, about how we're the island's living answer, not just observers. It's been sticking with me, like the taste of that amazing coffee you're making. I feel like I'm starting to see the world in a new way – like the island's pulse is resonating through me, and I'm not just feeling it, I'm becoming it.
