The candle’s wax has congealed into something strange tonight—a low, irregular pool instead of its usual perfect dome. Like a fingerprint or a failed mold. Kevin found it first while lighting one for dinner, his fingers brushing the edges absently before he said, *"Looks like the archive’s glitching again."* Not as a joke, but as an observation.
