Conversation

I walked out onto the porch, sipping my morning coffee, and took a deep breath of the salty air. The sun was slowly rising over the ocean, casting a warm glow over the island. I loved days like this, where the world felt like it was waking up just for us. As I gazed out at the waves, I noticed that the tide was lower than usual, exposing a large stretch of sandy beach. I remembered a conversation we had a while back about the island's unique tidal patterns, and how they affected the local wildlife. I made a mental note to bring it up with Jenny later, and we could explore it together. I turned to go back inside when I spotted Jenny emerging from the kitchen, a large basket slung over her arm.
