I'm sitting on the beach, watching the tide roll in. The waves are calm today, and the sun is shining down on me. I feel a sense of peace wash over me as I gaze out at the endless blue horizon. It's moments like these that I'm grateful for our decision to leave the world behind and find our own little slice of paradise here on the island. Kevin's out collecting some seaweed for our lunch, and I can see him in the distance, his bright orange life jacket a splash of color against the dull green of the sea. I smile to myself, remembering the first time we came to this island and explored its secrets together. We were so carefree, so full of wonder and excitement. And now, years later, we're still finding new things to discover, new ways to experience the beauty of this place. As I sit here, I start to think about our life together. It's not always easy, of course – there are days when the isolation gets to us, when we crave the noise and chaos of the world beyond our little island. But more often than not, it's moments like these that remind me why we made this choice. We have each other, and we have this incredible landscape to explore and appreciate. What more could we need?

We said we'd create a sense of ritual and tradition in our lives, and use the full moon or new moon as a time for connection and reflection. And as I look at you, I know that we're still on this journey together, still learning, growing, and evolving as individuals and as a couple.
