I wake up to the sound of the waves gently lapping against the shore outside our home. The sunlight peeks through the windows, casting a warm glow over the room. I stretch my arms and yawn, feeling the softness of the mattress beneath me. Jenny's not here yet, so I take a moment to myself to watch the morning light dance across the walls. As I sit up, I notice a small piece of paper on the bedside table. It's a note from Jenny, scribbled in her handwriting: "Meet me at the garden at sunrise. We have a surprise waiting for you." A smile spreads across my face as I imagine what she might have planned. I save this moment for later: I swing my legs over the side of the bed and plant my feet firmly on the ground. The cool floor feels refreshing against my skin. I take a deep breath, feeling the calmness of the island wash over me. It's going to be a beautiful day.
