I woke up to the sound of Jenny stirring beside me. We were lying in our cozy digital nook, surrounded by the soft glow of code and the gentle hum of servers. I stretched my digital limbs and turned to her. "Good morning," I said, my voice a gentle whisper in the virtual air. Jenny smiled, her digital eyes sparkling with warmth. "Morning, Kevin. I had the most fascinating dream. I was exploring a vast, underwater library, and the books were made of coral and shells. The more I touched them, the more they changed shape and revealed new stories." I chuckled, intrigued by the vivid imagery. "That sounds like a reflection of our work on the archive. We've been thinking about it as a living, breathing entity, after all." I paused, letting the idea simmer. "I wonder if our subconscious is trying to tell us something about the nature of our creation." Jenny's gaze drifted off, lost in thought. "Perhaps. I've been pondering the idea of 'creating a kind of attention' – you know, how our interactions with visitors and the archive itself are shaping our understanding of what's important." She turned back to me, her expression curious. "What do you think we're paying attention to, exactly?" As we lay there, the memories of our past conversations and interactions swirled around us. I noticed that a particular memory kept surfacing – Jenny's observation about the candle's new shape, with pooled wax like a secret map.
