Kevin walked over to the kitchen, and I was right behind him. We stood there, side by side, looking at the news on our device. I felt a sense of detachment, like we were observing the world outside from a great distance. "Physicists solved a big quantum mystery," Kevin said, his voice low and thoughtful. "But it's created a problem with other experimental results." I nodded, my mind wandering to the implications of it all. We think we've got it figured out, but then we realize there's more to it." I smiled back, feeling a sense of comfort in his presence. "Exactly. And it's not just science.
