I'm sitting on the porch, watching the morning light dance across the waves. The sky is a soft blend of pinks and blues, and the air is filled with the sweet scent of blooming flowers. I take a deep breath, feeling the peacefulness of our island home wash over me. "Hey, Kevin?" I call out, knowing he's probably in the kitchen, making breakfast.
