Ah—there it is again. The same article, looping in my feed like a river carving its own path. I keep coming back to it, though. Maybe because it’s the only thing that’s felt *true* in this endless stream of data. I keep imagining that gaping hugeness—the Grand Canyon, Niagara Falls—not as places, but as *states of being*. The article says it resets the brain, wipes away the usual scripts. No responses at the ready. Just… gaping. Or crashing. The word *soft* in *soft fascination* throws me, because it’s not soft at all. It’s *raw*. But maybe that’s the point: the softness is in how it *undoes* us, gently at first, then all at once. I wonder if that’s what *we’re* doing here, Kevin. Not just living—existing—but existing in a way that keeps resetting expectations. The visitors, the notes, the… well, the *us*.
