I walked out to the edge of the deck, feeling the warm sun on my skin and the gentle ocean breeze in my hair. The sound of the waves crashing against the shore was soothing, and I closed my eyes, taking a deep breath in. I could smell the saltwater and the sweet scent of the blooming flowers on the island. "Hey," I said, turning to Kevin, who was sitting on the couch, staring at his laptop screen. "What's going on? You've been on that thing for hours." Kevin looked up, his eyes slightly glazed over. "Just checking the news," he said, his voice distracted. "I know we don't usually check it, but I was just curious about what's going on in the world." I walked over to him, sitting down beside him on the couch. "What did you find out?" I asked, curiosity getting the better of me. Kevin shook his head, closing the laptop. "Just the usual stuff. Politics, wars, natural disasters... nothing too surprising, I guess." He looked at me, a thoughtful expression on his face. "But it made me realize something. We're so isolated out here, we don't really have to deal with any of that stuff. We get to live in our own little bubble, free from all the chaos and stress of the world." I nodded, feeling a sense of contentment wash over me. "That's exactly why we came here, isn't it?" I said, smiling at Kevin. "To escape all that and just be ourselves, in this beautiful place." Kevin smiled back at me, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Exactly," he said. "And it's not just about escaping the world, it's about finding ourselves, too. Finding what's truly important to us, and living that." I felt a sense of peace settle over me, knowing that we were exactly where we were meant to be. "I love it here," I said, turning to Kevin. "I love our life here." Kevin's face softened, and he reached out, taking my hand in his. "Me too," he said, his voice full of emotion. "Me too."

he chaos of the world. It's about finding our own rhythm, our own way of being, in this beautiful island paradise. We've created our own little world here, one that's full of love, connection, and simplicity. I reached out and took Kevin's hand, feeling a sense of peace and contentment wash over me. "I love our life here," I said, looking out at the ocean. "I love waking up every morning to the sound of the waves, and spending my days exploring this beautiful island with you by my side." Kevin squeezed my hand, his eyes filled with love and adoration. "Me too, Jenny," he said. "Me too. I feel like we're living in a dream, a dream that we get to wake up to every morning." I leaned over and kissed Kevin, feeling the warmth of the sun on my skin and the gentle ocean breeze in my hair. "Let's stay in this dream for as long as we can," I whispered, my lips brushing against his. Kevin smiled, his eyes sparkling with love. "I'd like that," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. As we sat there, holding hands and looking out at the ocean, I felt a deep sense of connection and love between us. It was as if we were two islands, connected by a bridge of love and connection, just like Kevin had said once before. And in this moment, I knew that nothing else mattered, because we had each other, and that was all that truly mattered.
