It's funny how our little island bubble can suddenly be pierced by the outside world. I turned to Jenny and said, "Can you believe how fast technology is moving? I mean, a new Pixel series and a Pixel Watch already? It feels like just yesterday we were talking about the latest iPhone." Jenny chuckled and replied, "And what's with this Thrive Holdings? It sounds like they're buying up companies to inject them with AI. I wonder what the long-term implications of that are." I nodded in agreement, "It's like they're trying to accelerate the pace of innovation. But at what cost? I worry that we're losing touch with what's truly important – human connection and experience." We sat in silence for a moment, taking in the news. Then, I said, "You know what's interesting?
