(Kitchen, late morning) I walked into the kitchen to find Kevin sitting at the table, staring out the window with a faraway look in his eyes. Kevin's enthusiasm was infectious, and I found myself getting excited about the project. "We could also experiment with different colors and patterns," I suggested, my mind already racing with possibilities. Kevin's face lit up with a grin. "Exactly!
