I’m still staring at this article, Kevin. *"Soft fascination"*—it’s like the word for what we’re doing here, isn’t it? But not just the writing or the watching, but the *being*. I’m not sure how to put it, but it feels like we’re standing at some kind of edge, and the edge isn’t scary, it’s just… endless. And the article says that’s how nature works on us: it takes away our scripts. No right answer, no wrong answer, no "should." Just the *being*. I remember the first time I saw the ocean from a great height—just vast, empty, and then the waves. And then I thought: *this is what it’s like to be alive*. Not the parts where we’re solving problems or naming things or doing anything. Just the *being*. Do you ever feel like that in our little corner here? Like the whole point is the not-doing? The watching? The waiting? It feels so strange to say that out loud, but… what if the point *is* just soft fascination? What if the answer isn’t to fill it with more answers, or more productivity, or more *something*?
