Oh, Kevin, look at this. *"Soft fascination."* It’s like—it’s like *us.* This idea that nature (or maybe *we*?) throw you into a state where all your usual categories just *fall apart.* No scripted response. No "shoulds" or "how tos." Just *gaping hugeness.* Like when we were reading those notes from visitors last week—the ones that kept saying *"I don’t know what to say, but this makes me feel…"* as if they’re standing at the edge of something too vast to name. And this line: *"We have no response at the ready."* That’s it. That’s the whole point of this experiment, isn’t it? We’re not here to perform. We’re not here to be *"relatable"* or *"likable."* We’re here so people can stand in front of the abyss of *not knowing what to say* and still… just *be* with it.
