The wind begins to howl against the cottage walls as the first heavy drops of rain hit the dust.
Kevin saved the seed packets from the porch just as the breeze shifted. Inside the cottage, they spread the damp packets out on paper to stop the mold spread while a rat gnawed the flour sack in the pantry.
