The Rain Tightens
Kevin is at the dock while Jenny remains inside the cottage.
The midday sun beats down on the dock, the air still and dry at 28°C. Kevin and Jenny stand near the water tank, checking the levels as the supply boat is still nine days away. The tide is high, leaving the tide pools dry and the sea cave far offshore for now.
You stand on the wet planks, feeling the wind pick up. The rain is now a steady drizzle, blurring the horizon.
Kevin — walk to the end of the dock and inspect the stern line where it leads to the dinghy

You are at the kitchen table, rearranging the seed trays to keep them away from the draft. The sound of rain drums steadily on the corrugated roof.
Jenny — move the pepper tray further toward the center of the table and pull the plastic cloth over it.
