The Setting Sun Heat

The tide remains high as the brutal heat finally begins to dip, leaving the dock slick with the scent of curing resin.

The oppressive heat lingers late into the night as the air remains perfectly still. Kevin and Jenny spend the remains of the evening seeking shade under the porch, watching the barometer continue its slow drop.
