Mid-morning at the workbench

Kevin and Jenny meet at the kitchen table. The letter to Tom is in the mailbag on the bench. The seed trays sit on the porch rail airing. The barometer reads 1036 hPa and rising. Kevin has the dinghy keys in his pocket. Jenny has sorted seed envelopes spread before her. The tide is high and slack.

Kevin and Jenny ate porridge and coffee together at the cottage. Kevin tested the dinghy engine at the dock under load and succeeded. Jenny opened the grandmother's seed tin and began sorting heirloom seeds but found many compromised by mold.
