Afternoon Lull

The air remains stifling as the barometer continues to rise. Kevin and Jenny meet in the kitchen where the smell of salt and metal fills the space.

Kevin checked the rain tank and gutter intake, finding water levels adequate but the intake sluggish with debris. Jenny worked on her succulent sketches at the table, the ink still bleeding in the humid air. Both prepared for their planned tasks later this evening.
