The First Drop

The first heavy drops of rain hit the dust as you and Jenny retreat indoors to secure the supplies.

Kevin attempts to secure the east shutter of the cottage, but despite his effort, the bolt does not seat properly, leaving a gap for the coming wind. Jenny prepares the salt water soak for her ankle, watching the heavy air thicken as the rain begins to drum against the tin roof.
