The humidity is stifling as the sun reaches its peak. The tide is now high, obscuring the lower rocks of the shore.

Kevin pulled the Yanmar raw water pump housing, measured bore wear at 0.12mm over spec, and confirmed the bronze adapter fits cleanly. He then walked the dock at high tide and torque-checked the mooring ring bolts and sister plank — all held fast under load. Jenny stayed on the porch, re-applied the mint poultice to her ankle, and watched the tide climb the pilings through the rain.
