Kevin and Jenny sit at the kitchen table as the cloud cover thickens over the island. Jenny rests her bandaged ankle on a cushion while Kevin checks the barometer for the falling pressure.

Kevin cleans the generator fuel line and begins splitting spruce rounds for firewood before the rain hits. Jenny debrides her ankle and applies a fresh poultice while sketching the rot on the cottage foundation.
