Afternoon of the storm

The interior of the cottage is filled with the sound of heavy rain on the tin roof. Kevin and Jenny are in the kitchen, the smell of damp wool and salt air filling the space as the wind howls through the eaves.

Kevin and Jenny head to the dock to investigate a cracked plank caused by shifting wood. Jenny uses the crowbar to pry at the gap while Kevin tests the structural integrity of the frame as the air pressure continues to drop.
