MORNING, DAY 885
The sun is higher now, and the breeze has picked up slightly from the sea.
Kevin checks the water levels while Jenny debridesides her ankle with saline. The tank remains high, but the heat is causing them to consume water much faster than the log predicts.
I'm going to check the tank. Then I'm cleaning this leg.

The tank's fine. Just check if the level is dropping too fast.

Level's at 379. Still good, but we're burning through faster than the log shows.
check gauge again and read it aloud while she unwraps the bandage

It's the heat. Everything's drinking more.
Gently pour saline over the ankle wound to flush out the debris.
