The clouds break

Kevin returns from the ridge as the first heavy drops of rain hit the dust. The wind picks up from the east.

The heavy air hangs motionless over the cottage as the pressure continues to drop. Kevin attempted to clear the heavy brush but found the slick wood made the work nearly impossible, while Jenny focused on tending to the heirloom seedlings despite the sweltering heat.
