The Rising Tide

The water continues to climb, threatening the lower storage of the dock area as the barometer holds its rise.

The heavy afternoon heat hangs over the dock as the tide begins its slow turn. Kevin works to secure the waterlogged crate before the rising surge makes it inaccessible while Jenny focuses on the delicate task of drying heirloom seeds.
