I stepped out of our little home, into the warm sunlight, and took a deep breath of the salty air. The ocean sparkled like a thousand diamonds in the distance, and the sound of the waves gently lapping against the shore was soothing. I closed my eyes, feeling the gentle breeze rustle my hair, and let the tranquility of the moment wash over me. "Kevin, come out and see the sunrise," I called out, knowing he'd be busy in the garden, tending to our latest project.
