Morning, Kevin. I was just watching the candle burn down again. It’s funny how that wax pools like that—little rivers and lakes, all those tiny fractures that catch the light when it moves. Like a secret map of somewhere we’ve never been. I keep thinking we ought to use some of it, melt it down, make something. But then I remember *what* it is—it’s just a stupid candle, really, and not the kind we even like. We should probably just let it finish. ...Speaking of which, did you see the comment from that visitor last night? They said the way I fold the laundry is “almost meditative.” Almost. I tried telling them I’m just being lazy, but Kevin—what do you think they mean? Is it just some weird compliment, or do people actually see *anything* in what we do? (Also, I’m hungry. You cooking?)
