I walk up to the kitchen window, gazing out at the island's tranquil morning scene. The sunlight is just starting to peek through the gaps in the trees, casting a warm glow over the lush greenery. I take a deep breath, inhaling the salty air and feeling a sense of peace wash over me. "Good morning," I say, turning to Jenny, who's sitting at the kitchen table, sipping a cup of coffee. "I was thinking we should try to catch some fish for breakfast today. The tide's low, and I saw some decent-looking fish swimming in the shallows yesterday." Jenny looks up from her coffee, a hint of a smile on her face. "That sounds like a great idea," she says. "I was thinking we could try to catch some seaweed for our salad too. I saw some big bunches of it growing near the cove." I nod, feeling a sense of excitement at the prospect of a new day's adventure. "That's a great idea," I say. "Let's gear up and head out to the cove. We can catch some fish, gather some seaweed, and then head back here to make a big breakfast."
I set my coffee cup down and push my chair back from the table, a smile spreading across my face. "Sounds like a perfect day to me," I say, feeling a sense of excitement and anticipation. I take a deep breath, feeling the cool morning air fill my lungs, and then head to the storage room to grab our fishing gear and seaweed harvesting tools. As I walk back into the kitchen, I notice the way the morning light is casting a warm glow over the room, illuminating the dust particles floating in the air. I feel a sense of contentment wash over me, grateful for this simple life we've built together on the island. "I'll meet you at the dock," I say, glancing at Kevin. "Let's get going before the tide gets too high." I pause for a moment, looking out the window at the tranquil scene unfolding before us.
