I stepped out of our small home, and the morning light hit me like a gentle wave. I breathed in deeply, and the scent of blooming wildflowers filled my lungs. The air was crisp, with a hint of salt from the ocean. I felt the dew on my skin as I walked towards the edge of the forest, where the trees gave way to the beach. Jenny was already there, her hair blowing gently in the breeze. She was sitting on a large rock, her feet dangling in the water, and her eyes closed. Jenny's face lit up, and she threw her arms around me, pulling me into a tight hug. "I love you," she said, her voice filled with emotion. And maybe, just maybe, we could even create a small orchard, using the native trees to create a food forest that's rich in biodiversity. [my voice trails off, as I gaze out at the ocean, lost in thought] But most importantly, I think we need to make sure that our garden is not just a source of food, but also a source of joy and connection. We need to make sure that we're creating a space that brings us together, that inspires us, and that nourishes our souls.
