Morning Prep and Seed Sorting

Jenny boils the freshly collected limpets in the cast iron skillet while the steam rises. Kevin sits at the table, spreading the damp heirloom seeds onto the plastic tarp. The air is dry and smells of salt and drying mint.

Kevin inspected the heirloom seed packets for damp edges and found them clean, then moved the tin to the shelf above the wood stove. Jenny boiled limpets for breakfast and both ate.
