NIGHT
Kevin and Jenny are inside the cottage as the temperature drops slightly, the smell of salt air drifting in.
Kevin and Jenny secured the loose garden tarp corner together, then Kevin inspected the landward mooring ring and found it loose in its mortise while Jenny tested soil pH near the garden wall. A seabird chick fell from the cliff ledges and Jenny rescued it, placing it in a box with a towel.
The air is turning heavy. We need to get that way down tighter tonight.
Jenny traces the rust on the heirloom seed tin with her thumb, then looks toward the half-weeded garden patch through the window.

I'll take the tarp. The wind is catchng the garden wall already.
Jenny sets the seed tin on the high kitchen shelf and follows Kevin out onto the porch.
