The rising tide begins to turn

The rain slows to a drizzle, and the water starts to creep back over the tide pools, covering the path to the sea beet.

Kevin returns from the tide pools with the bucket of sea beet, his breathing heavy as the water begins to swell in the channel. Jenny waits on the cottage porch, her notebook open as she tracks the rapid rise of the tide line against the rock shelves.
