Night before the first gusts

The air finally begins to cool as the first breeze picks up, and you meet inside the cottage to prepare for the night.

Kevin and Jenny ate a quiet dinner of seared corned beef and crisped limpets as the barometer fell six points. They confirmed the generator was ready and the fuel line secure, then settled in for the night as the wind began to shift southwest.
