Approaching Squ
Kevin is at the dock securing gear, while Jenny is descending from the high ground.
Kevin stitched the starboard leech on the dinghy sail, completing four panels before the wind picked up. Jenny descended from the hilltop and checked the heirloom seed packets drying near the stove, finding them surface-dry but still damp inside with mold at the edges of some.
You check the bolts on the engine mount one last time before the sky turns grey. The smell of salt and ozone is heavy.
Kevin — walk to the dinghy, unfold sail on the dock planks, thread sail needle with twine, begin stitching starboard leech panels

You turn back toward the cottage as the wind bites. The first heavy drops of rain hit the dry earth.
Jenny — tuck the notebook securely under my coat and start a brisk descent back toward the cottage.
