The afternoon sun beats down on the dock as the trade wind holds a steady course. The tide has retreated to its lowest, exposing the slick rocks of the tide pools. The air is heavy with humidity, and the barometer shows a slight dip in pressure, hinting at a shift in weather before the supply boat's arrival.
