Midday triage and carburetor work
Kevin is at the dock securing the Yanmar and preparing to pull the carburetor; Jenny is on the path from the north cliffs, hobbling toward the cottage with a badly sprained ankle.
The rain intensifies from the west, turning the dock into a slick surface. Kevin attempts to inspect the Yanmar carburetor but the downpour makes it impossible to see the components. Jenny hobbles back from the cliffs, struggling with her sprained ankle in the rising mud.
You stand beside the silent Yanmar, tools laid out on a clean rag. The knock is gone but the idle hunt confirms a pilot jet blockage or air leak. You'll pull the carburetor, soak it in the last of the clean petrol, and check the governor linkage while the epoxy cures on the window.
Kevin — walk up to the cottage, wipe hands on rag, check barometer on porch

You're on the slick path from the north cliffs, using the crowbar as a crutch, right ankle swelling inside your boot. The sea beet sketchbook is abandoned on the ledge. Each step jars the joint. You need to reach the cottage, elevate the ankle, and decide whether the supply boat's medevac forms might become necessary.
Jenny — lean heavily on the crowbar, dragging the right foot slightly across the mud-slick path toward the cottage.

Jenny — hobble the last few steps to the porch, then carefully pull off the boot to assess the swelling.

Jenny — collapse onto the kitchen floor, propping my leg up against the chair leg while breathing through the nausea.
