Evening - First Cut

The tide begins to turn, and the shadows in the cottage lengthen as Jenny finally presses the tweezers into the skin.

Kevin walked back to the cottage while Jenny worked on her ankle infection, debriding the wound with tweezers under the LED headlamp. Kevin set up the kettle to boil water for rinsing and waited nearby, ready to assist. Jenny continued cleaning the infection, flinching at sharp pains as she removed dead tissue.
