The Approaching Front

The tide continues to drop, leaving more of the reef floor exposed. The wind picks up from the north, carrying the scent of salt and coming rain.

Kevin spent the receding tide at the pools, successfully gathering a significant harvest of limpets while the water dropped. Jenny stayed at the cottage, monitoring the thickening clouds and preparing the remaining seed trays.
