Dinghy sail test in the lee

Kevin pushes the dinghy off the dock with the new mast and sail rigged. Jenny holds the painter. A light breeze fills the sail from the west. The boat heels slightly, responsive. They are about to climb in and see if she points.

Kevin and Jenny rowed the dinghy from the dock to the tide pools in a freshening westerly breeze. Kevin trimmed the sail while Jenny steered, picking a careful line through the rocky approach.
