The morning begins under a heavy sky as the tide begins its steady rise. Kevin focuses on measuring the bronze bar stock for the Yanmar sleeve while Jenny tends to the damp heirloom seeds drying near the warmth of the stove.

Good. Paper dries flat that way. Lap the sleeve, check every minute — can't put material back once it's gone. Shaft's 35.00mm nominal, so 34.98mm plus lapping should kiss 35.000 clean.
