Both of them retreat to the cottage as the first heavy drops of rain hit the dust. The tide is now over the lower dock rings.

Kevin attempted to usher Jenny inside the cottage to protect her as the air pressure dropped, but she resisted, insisting on her need to finish her sea beet sketches. The air remains heavy and still as the dry season heat lingers.
