The sun begins to dip, and the temperature drops slightly as the tide reaches its high mark, lapping against the new dock planks.

Kevin inspected the dock's recent repairs, checking the new joints for leaks under the high tide. Jenny checked the cottage shutter for the leak and monitored the water tank levels as the sky began to darken.
