Preparing for the launch

You and Jenny meet at the dock as the tide reaches the pilings. The dinghy is bobbing in the water.

Kevin fitted the new starter cord to the Yanmar recoil housing and readied the dinghy at the dock, but the engine failed to catch on his first attempts. Jenny walked to the north cliffs, finished her sea beet sketches, and found a fallen seabird chick on the slope below the ledge.
