The rain finally breaks

The first heavy drops of rain hit the roof as Kevin and Jenny gather inside to check the window seals.

Kevin and Jenny worked inside the cottage to save their heirloom seeds from the rising humidity. They moved the seeds from the hot skillet to dry them safely, using a cross-draft from an open window to speed up theProcess without parching the delicate embryos.
