The Storm Breaks

The rain is now lashing against the roof, turning the garden into a slurry. You sit together by the stove, listening to the barometer continue its steady fall.

The air is heavy and still, the barometer continuing its steady descent to 1018 hPa as the storm front approaches. The tide is fully out, exposing the slick rocks of the northern shelf and the narrow entrance to the hidden sea cave on the west shore.
